SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A new condominium project that broke ground in South Bend will honor and be named after a retired Notre Dame employee and alumni.
The new complex will consist of 35 homes and be located off of Notre Dame’s campus.
One to three-bedroom options will be available and prices will start around $300,000.
A roof-top deck, private parking and an exercise facility include some of the complex’s amenities.
The condominium will be named “Brennan’s View” in honor of a Notre Dame alumni and retired employee, Patrick Brennan.
“When I think now that someone was thoughtful enough and generous and selfless enough to name a building so close to the campus for me, it is something that I will be thankful in a heartfelt way for the rest of My life,” Brennan said.
"If you look around, we are very excited about what’s going to happen as this neighborhood takes shape over the next few years,” said South Bend Mayor James Mueller.
Brennan has been with Notre Dame for the past 22 years and attended their Law School in 1995.
