Bridging the healthcare gap in Michiana
STEVENSVILLE, Mich. – Tru by Hilton, the latest to join the hotel chain’s family of properties, opened Friday, July 24th, in Stevensville, Michigan.
The concept behind the hotel is to give visitors a sleek, modern design with amenities that provide an experience, all at an affordable price.
The hotel was ready to be open in April, however the pandemic pushed that back to July 24th.
Management at Tru say being able to offer guests a stay in a brand new room adds a layer of comfort during a pandemic, especially when they are following the same guidelines set for all Hilton’s.
“The Clean Stay program is every touch point,” said Lori Dellamano, General Manager of Tru by Hilton. “We wear masks every time we are at work, we expect our customers entering the building to be wearing masks, we have hand sanitizer strategically placed.”
On cleaning and sanitizing procedures, Dellamano said, “Myself, as the GM, I take extra precautions and I have my house keepers sanitize any surface that could be touched, even surfaces that you wouldn’t think. I just want our guests to feel totally secure where they can walk in our doors and not even worry about it.”
The pool and gym in the hotel are temporarily closed to be in accordance with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Executive Order.
The Tru is located off Red Arrow Highway at 2683 West Marquette Woods Road.
