New ISP website reveals meth lab locations

Indiana State Police rolled out a new addition to their website that provides Hoosiers with information on one of the most prominent drug problems in the state; meth labs.

Last year, Indiana was number one in total reported meth lab seizures in the country.

Now, state law enforcement is aiming to keep residents up to date on where this illegal drug activity is occurring with an interactive map and table featuring information on almost every meth lab seizure in the state since 2007.

"This project has been over a year in the making," stated ISP Meth Suppression Commander First Sergeant Nicki Crawford.

The database features over 9,000 different reports of where meth labs once existed.

Each report includes information such as the exact address, the date of the police seizure and even what kind of property it was.
