New medical device helps stop bleeding from gunshot wounds

An Oregon-based company, RevMedx, created a new device to stop bleeding from a gunshot wound in just seconds.

The device is called X-Stat.

The device is placed into the bullet hole and sponges fill up the wound and compress it.

The company says the faster you can stop the bleeding, the higher the chances of saving that person’s life.
