New wellness center at ND opens

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- After months of construction, Notre Dame opened its new wellness center.

The big medical facility offers a lot to the Notre Dame Community including primary medical care, physical therapy and a lab to get blood work and other things done.

Notre Dame is very excited about the new center.

"We have such a significant influx of graduate students here in terms of the families on a year to year basis that being able to access a doctor quickly can really be a positive and this will give them an opportunity to do that," Robert McQuade, Notre Dame Vice President of Human Resources, said.

The center will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
