Upcoming Events at Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve

NILES, Mich. – There will be a variety of events being held at the Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve August 5 through 12th.

On Sunday, the 6th guests have the chance to experience a study of a herbarium from 1-2:30 p.m.

Also on Sunday attendees can participate in Photography Club from 2-4 p.m.

From 12:15-1:30 on Wednesday, August 9th walk in or register online for Vinyasa Flow Yoga to build strength and cardiovascular capacity with yoga teacher Deidre Guthrie, who is also a Well-being Research Professor at The University of Notre Dame.

With a purchase of guests can experience Green Screens: An Environmental Film Festival at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening as well

Relive 60’s and 70’s soul music at the Genna & Jesse Concert Friday, August 11th, where food, beer and wine will be available from purchase from 6:30-9 pm.

Peak blooming season for new flowers will be a perfect time to take a Tallgrass Prairie Walk on Saturday the 12th from 9:30-11 a.m.

Fernwood has many resources that serve to these poplar events and day camps.
