One person injured in Elkhart shooting

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart County Dispatch confirmed a shooting took place near Elkhart General Hospital Sunday night.
According to officials, a call came in at 8:09 p.m. regarding reports of gunfire on the 1500 Block of West Franklin Street.
Authorities say an adult male is in the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
No suspect information is available at this time.
