Man hits a tree and a house in Berrien County car crash

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Lincoln Township Police Department investigated a car crash on Thursday morning.

Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Glenlord Rd around 9:21 a.m. to investigate an accident.

Officials said that a 23 year-old man was driving eastbound on Glenlord Rd. when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle.

The man then ran off the road and hit a tree and a house before coming to rest on a residential lawn.

He was treated at Lakeland for minor injuries and taken to Berrien County Jail because he was apparently driving while impaired.

Police said that alcohol and drugs are both factors in this case and the investigation is ongoing.
