Annual Trash Bash postponed

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced the annual Trash Bash has been postponed until fall of 2020.

On their website, INDOT stated that Trash Bash was postponed in order to comply with Gov. Eric Holcomb’s stay at home order.

Trash Bash is an organized effort between INDOT workers, Adopt-a-Highway volunteers and Department of Correction crews to remove litter from Indiana highways.

Trash Bash started in April 2018 and removed a total of 3,457 bags of trash over the course of a single weekend.
