At least 17 COVID-19 cases connected with Faster Horses Festival

LENAWEE COUNTY, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is investigating at least 17 COVID-19 cases associated with the Faster Horses Festival held from July 16-19. Officials are urging attendees that are not fully vaccinated to get tested.

17 of the COVID-19 cases have been identified, some were attendees that came to the festival while infectious, MDDHS said.

Attendees are encouraged to get tested if they are not fully vaccinated or are vaccinated and show COVID-19 symptoms.
