FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- In order to resolve term-long missing persons cases in Indiana, Indiana State Police have launched an investigative initiative to help find missing persons.
Technological innovations to find missing persons has allowed Indiana State Police to resolve some missing persons cases more effeciently.
The initiative will start in northeast Indiana and then expand to other parts of the state.
Indiana State Police is asking for families in northeast Indiana with long-term missing persons to call a recorded dedicated hotline at (833) 466-2653.
Callers are asked to leave their name, phone number, the name of their missing relative, and the city/county where they were reported missing.
A detective from the ISP Cold Case Investigative Squad will then reach out to you to discuss your case.
