FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Sunday, November 24th, 2019
Hopefully you enjoyed Sunday's sunshine because there's not much of it in the forecast over the next 10 days. Monday is decent with a few peeks of sun with highs pushing 50. Beyond that, things look rather active.
Showers develop late Tuesday afternoon and rain will fall thru late Wednesday morning as a powerful system tracks across the Great Lakes. In addition to the rain, we will see significant wind gusts Tuesday evening thru Wednesday evening. Gusts of 40-60 mph will be possible, leading to potential power outages and travel difficulties.
Fortunately Thanksgiving and Black Friday are mainly quiet. It'll be mostly cloudy each day and cooler with highs near 40. By Friday evening into and throughout the day Saturday, rain is likely with our next bigger system.
Behind that system, though, will be a surge of much colder air with highs in the 30s and daily chances for snow showers.
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy. Low of 34.
Monday: Partly to mostly cloudy. High of 48.
Tuesday: Increasing clouds with showers by mid-afternoon. Turning breezy. High of 48 with rising temperatures into the overnight.
Wednesday: Cloudy and very windy with rain through lunchtime. High of 54 in the morning with falling temperatures.
