Nice start to work week; waiting a while for rain

Looking at the week ahead of us, we've got a beautiful stretch of weather.

Clouds continue to break this morning, with more sunshine by afternoon.

Temperatures climb comfortably into the upper 70s today.

If you're using the nice day today to visit Lake Michigan, waves will be 2-3' which prompts a yellow flag, so you might consider saving the swim for a later day.

Overnight lows this week fall into the upper 50s or lower 60s, so you can give your air conditioning a bit of a break.

The dry weather continues the rest of this week with highs warming into the lower 80s.

We'll have to wait until the weekend for a chance for rain and storms.
