Niles Chili Cook-off and Chili Crawl showcases samples from local eateries

NILES, Mich. -- The sixth annual Niles Chili Cook-off and Chili Crawl took place over the weekend.

Last year's chili crawl welcomed more than 500 people. For only $5.00, samplers got a chance to sample 11 delicious chili samples prepared by chefs from local restaurants.

"It’s a really fun thing to get people into the local businesses in Niles,” said Beth Given. “We've been coming for several years now and really enjoy it each year."

The top chili winner was Massimos Pizza and the people's choice went to El Amiago Pepe. They took home cash prizes and trophies.
