A chilly and calm start to the weekend
NILES, Mich. - Niles High School students had a chance to dream about their futures Thursday.
It was College and Career Day for the Vikings, who had a chance to network with 55 volunteers representing a wide range of professions.
Michael Chisonga, a senior at Niles High School, stated "I looked around all the places around here and I also did my first year of the dual enrollment program. So that really got me like, a liking to the school already. So, I was like, I have to come back for my, my degree finishing up."
The event also featured breakout sessions with working industry professionals and a signing event for students entering the building trades.
