ELKHART, Ind. -- The Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition (NIHHC) is hosting its first annual Futsal Tournament.
ABC57 Morning Anchor Emily Evans talked to Goshen Stars Soccer Club President Millard Graber Thursday.
Futsal is a form of indoor soccer. The goal of this tournament is to encourage children, teens, and adults to stay active all year long, even during the winter months.
The tournament will be held at Elkhart Central High School located at 1 Blazer Blvd. in Elkhart, IN 46516.
The 3-day tournament schedule is as follows:
· Friday, November 3rd from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm
· Saturday, November 4th from 8:00 am-8:00 pm
· Sunday, November 5th from 8:00 am-8:00 pm
All proceeds will benefit NIHHC's Healthy Hearts Program (HHP).
The HHP focuses on the reduction and prevention of childhood obesity.
