Not your average Sunday at one Granger Church

GRANGER, Ind. -- Sunday was more than just a typical day at The Saint Pius Roman Catholic Church in Granger!

Sunday was the 40th anniversary of the annual meeting of the United Religious Community.

This group is an inter-religious organization.

They have started a lot of organizations including The Center for the Homeless.

Today there was even a reenactment of the Commitment Signing in 1972.

"It's really cool to be all together with people of various religious backgrounds and as you said, there are so many that are represented. The reason it's cool is because we don't focus on theological differences but rather, on our human commonalities," said Eric Siroka, Rabbi, Temple Bethel.
