Notre Dame men's basketball wins in double overtime

After a tough battle with Rutgers in Dayton, Ohio, the Notre Dame men’s basketball team rallies to win their first four round matchup in overtime by a score of 89 to 87 and advances to the round of 64.

The Irish were led in points by Paul Atkinson Jr. with 26 points who also had six rebounds and one assist.

After being down 36 to 41 at halftime, the Irish were able to turn things around in the second half and secure a victory.

The Irish advance to the round of 64 where they will face six seed Alabama at 4:15 p.m. in San Diego.
