Notre Dame alumni in Phoenix gearing up for Saturday's big match up

South Bend is ready for Saturday's Notre Dame game against Arizona State University, but they are not the only Notre Dame fans prepping for the game.

The Notre Dame Alumni Club of Phoenix has been planning for months for the events surrounding Saturday's game, which kick off Thursday evening.

“We have been planning this for about a year. We're really excited to have the team out here. We have a lot of events going on and looking forward to all the Notre Dame people that get to enjoy the wonderful Phoenix weather here in November and then excited for what should be a really great game," says Marc Echeveste, the former president of the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Phoenix.

Both teams have a 7-1 record on the season.

The #8 ranked Fighting Irish will take on the #11 ranked Arizona State Sun Devils this Saturday.

Kick-off is set for 3:30 at Sun Devil Stadium. It will air on ABC57.
