Notre Dame alumni making a difference

Dr. David Gaus helped open Hesburgh Hospital, a nonprofit that provides healthcare to the poor in Ecuador.
Since the year 2000, Dr. Gaus has been treating patients in the Dominican Republic.
Now, he has expanded his reach by opening a second hospital named after Father Hesburgh of Notre Dame.
Dr. Gaus says Father Hesburgh inspired him to use his degree for good.
