SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Notre Dame will host its third ever “Idea Week” in April and the University also announced its lineup of speakers and events that are set to take place.

The University describes Idea Week as an “annual celebration of entrepreneurs, innovation and the incubation of new ideas.”

Idea Week will feature a comedy routine from Trevor Noah of the Daily Show among other performances.

"We're starting to get people contacting us, letting us know that they'd like to be a part of it,” Bryan Ritchie said, Vice President of Innovation at the Notre Dame Idea Center, “so we've had dialogue with a number of different acts and Trevor Noah wanted to be a part of the transition in the things that are happening in South Bend."

The band One Republic is also set to perform at Notre Dame, and Alex Ohanian, the co-founder and CEO of the website Reddit, will deliver a keynote speech as well.

The University will also host its first ever E-sports tournament. There will be separate tournaments for college students and high schoolers.
