Notre Dame cancels upcoming programming in Hong Kong

NOTRE DAME, Ind.--The University of Notre Dame has suspended spring 2020 programming in Hong Kong due to escalating violence.

Fourteen Notre Dame students were slated to attend classes in Hong Kong in the spring. The university is working to find new programming for affected students.

Notre Dame canceled programming at the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
