Notre Dame does its part to help students affected by Sandy

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame is doing its part to help students affected by Superstorm Sandy.

The university has extended its early action deadline to Thursday night at midnight for those affected by Sandy.

That is one week after the original deadline of November first.

Early action is nonbinding. It just gives applicants an early decision if they are accepted.

The regular action deadline for fall 2013 admission is Dec. 31.
