Notre Dame establishes 'Declan Drumm Sullivan Memorial Scholarship'

NOTRE DAME, Ind.--Tomorrow marks one year since the death of Declan Sullivan.

Sullivan died last year when high winds blew over the aerial lift he was atop while filming football practice.The university announced they have established a ‘Declan Drumm Sullivan Memorial Scholarship.’

It will be awarded to students who are in financial need, and who also have demonstrated the traits that Sullivan did, such as film making, service to under-privileged youth, creative writing, or other passions.
