Notre Dame files trademark lawsuit

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- On Thursday, we learned the University of Notre Dame has joined a large lawsuit against a design company.

Notre Dame and 13 other colleges are suing Signature Diversified.

They claim the company is putting their logos on apparel and equipment without their permission.

The Georgia Company once had permission, but the agreement expired.

The universities are seeking damages, all unsold printed material, and attorney's fees.
