ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. –– After the majority of spring football practices were cancelled in 2020 because of COVID-19, the Irish finally got back to work for the first time this spring. Saturday marked the first of 15 scheduled practices for Notre Dame.
Brian Kelly, the Notre Dame football coach, said while there are some starting spots to fill, the expectations for this season are the same as every year –– win a national championship.
