SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame football is gearing up for the season, hoping to clinch the 12-team College Football Playoff this year with a new quarterback taking the reins.
ABC57 Kickoff hosts Allison Hayes and Vahid Sadrzadeh broke down how the Irish are hoping to build on the momentum of last year and make the playoff.
They also spoke about quarterback Riley Leonard, who transferred from Duke to Notre Dame, in hopes of a championship.
The Irish open their season at Texas A&M on August 31 at 7:30 p.m.
