CHICAGO -- ABC57’s Anthony Totri and Austin Burnett were in Chicago today where the Irish were victorious over a ranked Wisconsin with a final score of 41 to 13.
“What you saw today was the depth of Notre Dame football, there were some questions on the defensive side of the ball with tackling that not only improved, but they got the interceptions along with the pick sixes,” says Totri and Burnett.
Another big part of todays game was Notre Dame Coach Brian Kelly passing Irish legend Knute Rockne in all time wins by a Notre Dame Coach.
“I'm just glad it's over with really, to be quite honest with you because you know, I'm proud of the accomplishment to the level of consistency and obviously from a winning standpoint you have to have great players and great coaches and great support,” says Kelly.
The Irish return to South Bend next week to take on Cincinnati.
