NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- One of the members of Notre Dame's football team tested positive for COVID-19 the university announced Monday.
As of Monday, 91 student athletes were tested for COVID-19 and of those, just one tested positive.
The student is asymptomatic and is self-isolating.
Four football players are in self-quarantine because they came in contact with the player who tested positive.
The university has also tested 50 staff members and none tested positive.
Monday was the first day of voluntary workouts for the 2020 season.
