Notre Dame gets federal grant for invasive species study

NOTRE DAME, Ind.--Notre Dame is getting a quarter of a million dollars to study invasive species, in Lake Michigan.
It’s a part of $6 million the federal government is shelling out for Great Lakes Cleanup Projects. According to the EPA, University of Notre Dame researchers will assess the live bait trade.
They will look for bighead carp, silver carp, and other target invasive
species
