NOTRE DAME, Ind. - One day after Notre Dame hockey clinched the Big Ten regular season championship, Ohio State spoiled the celebration.
The Buckeyes got revenge and earned a series split with a 5-1 victory over the Irish
Despite the outcome, Notre Dame is still locked into the top seed for the Big Ten Tournament in March. The Irish will be the only team with a first-round bye, and will host at least a conference semifinal game at Compton Family Ice Arena.
