NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame held a 29-hour live broadcast to raise money for several areas and departments of the school.
The broadcast featured interviews, student performances, celebrities, in hopes to receive donations that will benefit the university.
ABC 57’s Vahid Sadrzadeh sat down with an alum who now designs fashion for the stars.
"Notre Dame Day is really important for the University because it's a day to celebrate all of the great things about the university. To share with the community, share with those who love Notre Dame, and really have an opportunity to engage them in the particulars of all that we have to offer." said David Chaudoir, Director of Storytelling ND development.
If $10 or more were donated, the donor received five votes to cast for the Notre Dame program of choice.
Votes determine the funds that department will receive.
The broadcast ran from April 22nd at 6:42 p.m. to April 24th at 12:11 a.m.
