ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, In. –– Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic Notre Dame football has stressed May 15 as a deadline for summer activities. Notre Dame Vice President and Director of Athletics Jack Swarbrick addressed the possibility of summer workouts for student athletes, among other topics during a Zoom press conference on Tuesday.
Swarbrick also said that as of May 5, the Fighting Irish season opener against Navy on Aug. 29 is still scheduled to be played overseas.
