NOTRE DAME, Ind.—The Notre Dame men’s basketball team faced off against Florida State University at Purcell Pavilion on Wednesday night.
The Irish lost to seventh ranked FSU 73-71.
“I feel for our guys but we got what we deserved. We tried a little bit of everything,” said Coach Mike Brey. “There were 15 NBA scouts here and they weren’t here for any of our guys.”
The Irish were actually up 61 to 48 but Florida State came roaring back.
On Saturday, for Senior Day, the Irish will take on Virginia Tech at home.
