Notre Dame: No more sheepskin diplomas

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Notre Dame is saying goodbye to the sheepskin!

Starting next year, the university will print all of its diplomas on high quality paper.

Before now, students had a choice of either paper or sheepskin.

The problem is that sheepskin often fades or shrinks.

The Registrar's Office says that every year they get requests from its alumni for replacement diplomas.

Notre Dame was one of only five schools that still used sheepskin.
