SOUTH BEND,Ind. -- While much of the criticism centered on the Irish defense, the offense held its ground and delivered some strong performances.
Quarterback C.J. Carr completed 20 of 32 passes for 293 yards with one touchdown and one interception. On the ground, Jadarian Price led the way with 68 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Jeremiyah Love added 94 yards. Despite several long drives, execution issues proved costly. A botched snap on an extra point left Notre Dame with just a six-point lead late in the game—a mistake that loomed large as Texas A&M pulled ahead in the final seconds. Head Coach Marcus Freeman emphasized consistency and cleaner execution in practice moving forward, stressing that the team must be sharper if they want to bounce back this season. Stay tuned this week for updates from players Malachi Fields, Eli Raridon, and Adon Shuler, who was ejected for targeting in the loss.
