NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The dormitory halls opened Friday starting at 9 a.m. for incoming freshmen at Notre Dame.
Around two-thousand freshmen are enrolled for the fall semester, according to Notre Dame Admissions.
In 2017, Notre Dame established a rule that requires all attendees except for Seniors to live on campus in Notre Dame housing.
Incoming Freshmen twins, Piper and Andrew Shine, say they’re excited about the school year starting shortly.
“I’ve kind of been dreaming of this since day one. Like actually, so our parents went here and honestly haven’t heard any bad things. Oh my gosh unreal. Absolutely unreal. I haven’t like experienced this any other time. This is huge,” Piper Shine said.
“It’s a little overwhelming but it’s awesome,” Andrew Shine said.
