Notre Dame ROTC cadets visit veterans

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -

In honor of Veterans Day cadets from Notre Dame's ROTC program visited veterans at Holy Cross Care Rehab Center on Friday.

Cadets said it was their way to give back and thank the veterans.

"Basically we are just coming out, we want to just give back to our veterans. You know, it's very humbling so we want to come out spend a little time and kind of give back to what they gave to us," said Master Sergeant Jeff Crossman.

The cadets said they were thankful for the chance to hear their stories and forge new friendships with the veterans.
