Notre Dame student charged for leaving the scene of an accident

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A Notre Dame student has been charged with leaving the scene of a crash.
On December 3rd, Police say 21-year-old Adam Lucas drove his truck into the original Corby’s Tavern. Lucas fled the scene, and was gone by the time cops arrived.
Police had found his backpack in the truck, and tracked him down.
The abandoned building has since been torn down.
