Notre Dame TE Mitchell Evans out for the season with torn ACL

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - Notre Dame Tight End Mitchell Evans is out for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL during the Pittsburgh game on Saturday.
Head Coach Marcus Freeman made the announcement Monday morning during his weekly press conference.
Evans has been a major player for the Irish offense this season.
The Irish go up against Clemson on Saturday in Death Valley.
