Notre Dame's Eifert named a finalist for Mackey Award

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert is a finalist for an offensive award.
Eifert is a finalist for the John Mackey Award. The award goes to the nation's top tighet end.
This is the second consecutive year for the Irish to land a spot as a finalist.
The winner will be announced next month.
