Notre Dame's kicker says he is getting better

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. --- Special Teams could play a big factor once again. Notre Dame's kicker says he has improved since last year.

So far this season, Kyle Brindza is 3-4 on field goals.

His only miss came in the season opener against Temple.

He talked earlier in the week about how he's improved since last year.

"Come a long way. Spring game I didn't see as much as I wanted to from a practice stand point, but coming out in the summer being able to get help from coaches, Coach Kornblue. He's been able to do a tremendous job with me as well as Diaco and Coach Booker, helping day in and day out to just get better," said Brindza.

He make 74 percent of his field goals last year.

So far this season, he's at 75 percent.
