When thinking towards the coming football season, many Irish fans point to the offensive line as one of the key aspects to watch.
The unit was a cornerstone of the Irish offense in 2017, and now have the accolades to back it up.
Quenton Nelson and Mike McGlinchey were named first-team All-Americans by the Walter Camp Foundation, the oldest All-America list in college football.
They are the first pair of Irish linemen to earn that distinction since 1947.
Nelson was also a finalist for the Outland Trophy this year, given annually to the nation's best interior lineman. He was beaten out, however, by Houston's Ed Oliver.
