SOUTH BEND, Ind -- The Nuns on the Bus tour will stop in South Bend on Thursday.

The rolling tour are on a nine-state tour protesting Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan's budget plan.

The Republican held house passed a budget that would cut services to the poor, even though Ryan claims the budget is in tune with his Catholic faith.

The stopped by Ryan's Wisconsin office to deliver what they call a "faithful" budget proposal that protects the poor. The idea for the bus tour came after the Vatican's recent public criticism of socially active nuns in the U.S.

The nuns will be Good Shepherd Montessori School at 7:30 p.m. on June 21. On June 22 they'll visit Congressman Joe Donnelly's office at 10 a.m.
