NYPD tighten security for upcoming runs

NEW YORK — Security is tight for two runs scheduled in Central Park the third weekend of April.
The New York Police Department is maintaining tight security throughout the city.
Runners are being asked not to bring bags to the run. They'll also have to pass through security screenings.
Garbage cans will be removed along the route.
