Office building catches fire on Johnson Road

An INDOT field office caught fire overnight.  That building is in the 19800 block of Johnson Road. Officials on scene say the building was used for crews working on the  nearby Johnson Road bridge construction project.

The calls came in just after 3 a.m. and five different fire departments responded to put it out.

ABC 57's Emily Kinzer reports the fire was under control around 4 a.m.

Much of the single story building is damaged and fire officials are still working to find out what sparked in the night.

They tell ABC 57 it's possible the fire started in the garage and extended throughout the office.

Fire crews are still there working to keep the fire from reigniting.
