Ohio radio host charged for allegedly shooting wife

MADEIRA, Ohio -- An Ohio businessman and radio host is behind bars for allegedly shooting his wife during a fight.

37-year-old Blake Seylhouwer claims that the shooting was an accident.

Police say he was having an argument with his wife when he fired the gun into the ground.

The bullet ricocheted and hit his wife.

“We don't feel it was an accident. We can't say that he intentionally was going to shoot her or if he was just trying to scare her. Either way, she was injured so we filed charges for domestic violence and felonious assault," says Madeira Police Chief Frank Maupin.

Seylhouwer is the host of a small-business radio show and his wife is his producer.
