Old South Bend high-rise being renovated

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One lane of a street is closed in downtown South Bend as crews work on the renovation of an old South Bend high-rise.

The building was most recently the Wells Fargo building and is located at the corner of Main and Jefferson. The building is building is undergoing a complete remodel.

The corner next to the building has also been cleaned out.

The owner hopes the refurbished building across from the parking lot will be a big draw for potential tenets.

One lane of Jefferson is closed.
