BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Southwest Michigan is seeing a dramatic rise in drug overdoses and deaths. A major factor is a sedative drug meant for animals, Xylazine, being mixed in.
When Xylazine is cut with another drug, it makes it difficult to slow down overdoses.
Berrien County Health Department Medical Director Dr. Rex Cabaltica goes on the record about the problem.
