MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- Indiana's Move Over Law isn't new, but many people still don't know it exists. Because of that, officers are often put at risk while pulling someone over on the side of the road.
The move over law says if you encounter police, fire or ambulances on the side of the road you should change lanes and slow down. More recently it also applies to highway maintenance vehicles, tow truck and garbage trucks.
Indiana State Police Sergeant Ted Bohner goes on the record with what types of drivers are usually involved in crashes and shares some shocking photos of the aftermath.
